ESRC WGSSS Studentship in Criminology and Law, UK for PhD Established in 1997, Cardiff University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Cardiff (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Wales. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities (up to 30% of cohort may be international students).

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in Law and Criminology offered by the university.

  • Admissible Criteria:

    • Applicants must hold qualifications or experience equivalent to a UK first or upper second-class honours degree, or a Master’s degree.

    • Candidates from non-traditional academic backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

    • Applicants must meet the UKRI eligibility requirements.

    • International students are not required to pay the fee difference between UK and international tuition rates.

    • All candidates must be committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion principles as outlined by WGSSS.
