Offered Benefits

The university will provide all the following benefits:

  • The studentship award covers your university fees and provides you with a stipend of £14,777 per year (including an AQM enhancement of £3,250 for each PhD year)
  • You will also be able to apply for small amounts of additional funding via the Research Training Support Grant

Application Process

  • How to Apply: You will need to apply for a place on the ISER PhD Economics by 20 January 2020 and will need to apply for this studentship directly to Sonia Bhalotra and Birgitta Rabe.
  • Supporting Documents: To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the previous transcripts at the university.
  • Admission Requirements: For being admitted to the PhD degree program, seekers are required to hold an undergraduate degree.
  • Language Requirement: For gaining the advantage of this bursary, entrants are required to have a good level of English language to study.
