The bursary covers tuition fees, a maintenance stipend (the annual maintenance stipend for 2019-20 is £15,009).

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for a grant, you need to take admission to the PhD programme at the University of Manchester. Thereafter they submit the form to Mrs Joanne Marsh, the Graduate School Senior Research Administrator [email protected]
  • Supporting Documents: Two academic references, photocopies of degree certificates, research proposal and copy of your passport must be submitted.
  • Admission Requirements: For admission, applicants must have a master’s degree.
  • Language Requirement: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.
