  • You will be offered mobility opportunities at leading European universities as part of an innovative, multidisciplinary, and integrated team-delivered programme.
  • It offers a uniquely comprehensive degree, bringing together all international legal regimes relevant to security, peace and sustainable development, by incorporating specialisms in sustainability, peace and security, and human rights.
  • You will undertake a multifaceted programme of summer schools, guest lectures, legal clinics, work placements, interaction with practitioners and language training.
  • This degree spearheads an innovative approach to legal education that is urgently needed for our increasingly volatile, interconnected and complex global future, and trains graduates of excellence with leadership potential in international law and global affairs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • In order to enrol in the ILSPSD, applicants need to have successfully completed an undergraduate degree (a minimum of 180 ECTS – within the European Higher Education Area – or its equivalent) from a fully accredited institution of higher education (within or outside the EHEA), provided that this undergraduate degree grants access to master’s level studies in the country in which the undergraduate degree diploma was issued.
  • By completing a course, seminar, or module, you get awarded  ECTS credit points. Every ECTS credit point represents the amount of workload you accomplished in that period of time. Each ECTS credit represents 25 study hours.
  • If you have completed your courses outside the ECTS area, your workload must be converted. You need to ask your degree awarding institution for a written statement of the working hours needed for accomplishing each of your (law) courses. When applying please upload this statement and your conversion calculations together with your degree certificate and transcript of records
  • If you haven’t completed your undergraduate degree by the time of your application but will do so within the year of the intake, you can be admitted conditionally.
