Bangor University has secured up to 10 scholarships from the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for MSc Tropical Forestry (Distance Learning) for September 2015 entry. The scholarship also includes a generous travel bursary to enable scholars to attend an international summer school in July/August 2017 as well as a small study grant to assist scholars with distance learning study costs.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants from the following developing commonwealth countries are eligible for the scholarship:

Bangladesh, Botswana, Cameroon, Ghana, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.

Offered Benefits

We are pleased to announce that up to 10 fully-funded scholarships (each worth over £12,000 to cover tuition fees).

The scholarship also includes a generous bursary to enable scholars to attend a compulsory 14-day study tour which will be held in a country with notable tropical forest resources in July/August 2017.
