With an aim of encouraging students from around the world to come and study in Ireland, the Institute of Technology Sligo is offering the English Language Merit Scholarships to international students for the academic year 2022-2023.

Undergraduate or graduate international students at IT Sligo can take this application to have a portion of the tuition fee covered. Students that meet the academic and English language requirements are eligible.

International English Language Merit Scholarships, Ireland for Bachelor Established in 1970, Institute of Technology Sligo is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Sligo (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), County Sligo. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Skills, Ireland, Institute of Technology Sligo (IT Sligo) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Institute of Technology Sligo (IT Sligo) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.   • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can undertake any degree programme, undergraduate or graduate, taught at IT Sligo.

Offered Benefits

The selected international students will be given the English Language Merit Scholarship towards the tuition fee of the undertaken programme at IT Sligo, most likely. The exact award will be disclosed later.

  • How to Apply: International students must start their admission application process here. All students that apply will be considered to be given this scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

  • Academic Qualifications (Transcripts and Certificates)
  • Admission Requirements: All applicants are required to meet the academic and English Language admissions requirements of the course they have applied to.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
