Embassy of France in Nigeria are accepting applications for the position of English Language Assistant to work in France during the 2026-2027 school year.
Candidates must be NIGERIAN citizens. Permanent residents are not eligible for this program.
2. Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years of age by the start of the mission.
3. Candidates must have completed their secondary education in NIGERIA.
4. Candidates must have completed at least four years of university studies at the time of application.
5. Experience in teaching or volunterring in educational projects will be highly valued
6. A minimum B1 Level in French is required (DELF or DALF certificates required)
7. Candidates must be native English speakers.
8. Candidates should preferably be single, as the salary of an assistant is not adequate to support dependents.
9. Selected candidates will be required to provide proof of sufficient financial means to purchase their flight ticket and to cover their living expenses during the first month, prior to obtaining their visa
10. Candidates must select one of the ten Alliances Françaises or the Institut Français du Nigeria in the « Professeur Evaluateur » field. Applications that do not follow this procedure will be automaticall disqualified
