The Engineers Canada-Manulife Scholarship is now open for applications for the 2025–2026 academic year. This program offers three scholarships of $12,500 each to support Canadian engineers pursuing further study or research in any field of engineering.

Eligible applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, registered as engineers in good standing, and enrolled full-time for at least two semesters between September 2025 and August 2026.Engineers Canada is the national organization that represents the provincial and territorial engineering regulators in Canada. It works to advance the profession by supporting consistent high standards of engineering education, professional practice, and regulation across the country. Engineers Canada also promotes the value of engineering to society, accredits undergraduate engineering programs, and offers scholarships and initiatives that foster innovation and leadership within the engineering community.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Canada
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any field of engineering offered by the applicant’s chosen university.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
    • Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
    • Be registered in good standing as an engineer or acceptable limited licence holder with one of Canada’s engineering regulators.
    • Be accepted or registered full-time for at least two semesters between September 2025 and August 2026.
    • Not be a post-doctoral fellow.
    • Not have previously received this scholarship or the Engineers Canada-TD Meloche-Monnex Scholarship.
    • Submit a complete nomination package before the deadline.
