Engineering: Fully Funded EngD at Swansea: Low cost functional coatings for steel for Phd Established in 1920, Swansea University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Swansea (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Wales. This 99 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

We welcome applications from candidates with a degree (minimum level 2:1) in Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering disciplines or equivalent relevant experience that would enable the candidate to fulfil the role.

We would normally expect candidates to have met the University’s English Language requirements (e.g. IELTS 6.5 overall with 5.5+ in each component) by point of application.

Due to funding restrictions, this scholarship is not open to ‘International’ candidates.

Offered Benefits

The scholarship covers the full cost of UK tuition fees, plus a tax free stipend of £20,000 p.a. for a period of four years.
