Empowering Africa Inc. Full tuition grant at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Founded in 1951, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Kumasi (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Ashanti. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Sunyani, Accra. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board, Ghana), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Application Process

All prospective applicants are to include the following documents in their applications:

  • Admission Letter
  • Acceptance Letter
  • WASSCE Certificate/results
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Recommendation letters
  • Awards or certificates (if any).
  • Prospective continuing student applicants should also add their complete University Academic Transcripts, (including current results).

CONTINUING STUDENTS who are beneficiaries of other scholarships ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

Also, all prospective applicants should be:

  • Academically motivated and devoted: Students must show a commitment to higher education and a high level of academic achievement through their grades, scores, essays, and references.
  • Committed to community involvement: Students must show that they are committed to not just bettering themselves but making a positive difference in their community. This can be seen through the applicant’s description of extracurricular/volunteer work, their essays, and their references.
