Emory University offers partial to full merit-based scholarships as part of the Emory University Scholar Programs. Scholar programs are more than just merit scholarships. Emory University 2023 Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students for Bachelor Founded in 1836, Emory University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Atlanta (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Georgia. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Emory University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Methodist religion. Emory University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 183 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 10-20% making this US higher education organization a most selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • All students, regardless of citizenship, can be considered for the scholar programs.
  • Applicants do not need to be nominated by a high school counselor to be considered. 
  • Students must be applying for any of the three phases of admission at Emory University.

Application Process

  • To be considered for any and all scholar programs, you must select one of the three admission decision plans ( Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or  Regular Decision) and submit all required application materials by November 15. (Those applying Early Decision I must apply by November 1.)

  • You also must answer "yes" to the question on your application that says, "Do you wish to be considered for merit scholarships?"
