The Emerging Mystery Writer Scholarship aims to support talented young mystery writers by awarding $300 CAD ($250 USD) to one writer on the basis of an unpublished short story. We invite applications from students planning to attend or currently attending a post-secondary instutitution

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must be commencing or continuing their studies at a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada or the United States in 2018/19. Applicant must be 23 years of age or younger as of Jan 1, 2019.

Offered Benefits

Scholarship recipient will receive $250 USD and have their winning short story published in Mystery Weekly Magazine.
