Leuphana University of Lüneburg invites applications for its prestigious Embracing Transformation PhD and Scholarship Programme, starting in April 2026. Embracing Transformation PhD Scholarship Programme, Germany Founded in 1946, Leuphana Universität Lüneburg (Leuphana University of Lüneburg) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Lüneburg (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Lower Saxony. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all nationalities.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Scholarships will be awarded for doctoral research in transformation studies, including psychology and the five interdisciplinary subject areas.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

    • Submit a qualified research proposal aligned with transformation research.

    • Provide a curriculum vitae, including academic achievements (publications, conferences, etc.).

    • Submit a letter of motivation explaining interest in the interdisciplinary programme.

    • Provide degree certificates and transcripts.

    • Fulfill additional subject-specific requirements if applicable.

    • Enroll in Leuphana’s doctoral programme (a prerequisite for final scholarship granting).
