Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: South African
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a degree in Veterinary Science.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • A degree program in Veterinary Science (BVSc) (2nd year +++)
  • Students must have completed the first year of study successfully.
  • Students who are SA Citizens from KwaZulu Natal may apply for the bursary.
  • Previous EK Brown bursary holders may apply again.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate an interest in Equine Studies and intend to practice in KZN.

Offered Benefits

Selected students will receive a scholarship to support their study in Veterinary Science. The bursary value is R30 000 and will be awarded in 2023.
