The Generalitat Valenciana has announced the EIGENT Grants to support outstanding postdoctoral researchers with international experience. These grants aim to attract top talent to research centers and universities in the Valencian Community, offering funding for up to four years with the possibility of extension.
To be eligible for the EIGENT grants, applicants must hold a PhD obtained within the last six years and have completed at least two years of research stays at prestigious international centers outside the Valencian Community. They must not be affiliated with any university or research center in the Valencian Community at the time of application and, if their PhD was awarded there, must have been separated from that institution for at least two years. Additionally, candidates need endorsement from a lead researcher of the host research group and cannot belong to other regionally funded groups.
