Applications are invited for Effat full Scholarships which are available to pursue diploma, bachelor and master programs. Students of all nationalities are welcome to apply for these scholarships.

The medium of instruction at Effat University is English. A student needs a minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of 520 and a minimum score on the Test of Written English (TWE) of 5 to be admitted as a first-year university student. Effat University offers institutional versions of all required placement exams.
Effat University Information
Founded in 1999, Effat University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Jeddah (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Makkah. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, Effat University is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) women only higher education institution. Effat University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 20 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
Bachelor of Science
Admission criteria and requirements:
- High school/GPA 80% (3.00/4 or 4.00/5.00) or above
- Prove of English:
- Test score (TOEFL 79/IELTS 6.5)
- Studied in English
- Minimum/ Maximum course credits: 12 credits ( four courses)
Masters of Science
Admission criteria and requirements:
- GPA 1.75/4 or 2.75/5 or above
- Proof of English:
- Test score (TOEFL 79/IELTS 6.5)
- Studied in English
- Minimum/ Maximum course credits: 12 credits (four courses).
Offered Benefits
A limited number of full and partial merit-based scholarships are available each semester. Academic scholarship competitions are held periodically, usually in early spring or early summer, to select recipients of available scholarships. Interested students may obtain a scholarship application in the office of Admissions, located in Humanities Building on the Effat campus. With the exception of students airline ticket and pocket money, all costs will be covered.

Students wishing to apply to Effat University should submit a completed application form, signed by the guardian, with the following supporting documentation:
- Original High School Transcripts
- Photocopy of National ID or Iqama
- Signed photocopy of guardian’s ID
- Photocopy of passport if available
- Standardised test scores
- Tofel: 69-120 or,
- ILETS:5.5 or,
- TWE: 5-6 (place at Effat) or,
- Math placement Test (DTMS):
-College of engineering and College of Architecture and Design: 4 levels (DTMS).
-College of Science and Humanities and College of Business: 2 levels (DTMS)
- 2 recent “passport-size” photographs (wearing a head scarf)
