To support outstanding new entrants to develop their academic and non-academic talents, the Education University of Hong Kong is providing the EduHK Entrance Scholarships for students for the academic year 2021-2022.

The grant is specifically designed for non-local students who possess the ability to achieve greater heights. Students from all countries are eligible. The grant is solely based on academic ability, personal qualities, interview performance, and non-academic achievements.

Entrance Scholarships for International Students at Education University of Hong Kong Founded in 1994, The Education University of Hong Kong is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Hong Kong (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Education Bureau, Hong Kong SAR, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 25 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligible Course or Subjects: All undergraduate degree courses and subjects are eligible under this application .
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:

Offered Benefits

The university will also provide the selected students in the following manner:

  • Fully funded Scholarship: HK$185,000
  • tuition grant: HK$140,000
  • Half-tuition grant: HK$70,000

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The applicants are required to apply to the university through their online portal. The applicants will be considered for the opportunity upon acceptance in an undergraduate course.
  • Supporting Documents: The applicants are required to submit the following documents at the time of application:
  • High school transcripts
  • Certificates
  • Public examination
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants are required to have attained all previous years of study to apply for an undergraduate degree program.
  • Language Requirement: The applicants are required to take the following English language proficiency tests and provide the score:
  • TOEFL IBT – 80
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • Other equivalent test results are also accepted.
