Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Writers worldwide
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the competition.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet specific criteria, including being an unpublished writer living in Scotland for the Isobel Lodge Award.

Application Process

Interested writers can enter the competition by submitting their stories online from December 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024. The entry fee is £10 per story. Free entry is provided to individuals over 16 living in Scotland in households receiving certain forms of income support.
