Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University Dubai, in partnership with the 30% Club GCC, is offering the Shaping Women Entrepreneurs Scholarship for September 2025. This scholarship program provides up to 50% off tuition fees for one outstanding female entrepreneur from the GCC region who is self-funded and accepted into the full-time or part-time MBA program.

The study award is open to candidates from GCC countries applicants must be female residents of a GCC country who have received and accepted an unconditional offer to study the full-time or part-time MBA program at Heriot-Watt University Dubai, starting in September 2025. Candidates must be fully self-funded and have paid the required deposit to secure their place.

Heriot-Watt University Dubai is a distinguished branch of the UK-based Heriot-Watt University, established in 2005. As one of the first British universities to set up in Dubai International Academic City, it has grown to serve nearly 5,000 students from over 115 nationalities.

Edinburgh Business School Shaping Women Entrepreneurs Scholarship, United Arab Emirates for Course Established in 1966, Heriot-Watt University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Edinburgh (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Scotland. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: GCC countries

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the MBA program offered by the university

  • Admissible Criteria:

    • Applicants must be female and residing in a GCC country

    • Must have received and accepted an unconditional offer for the MBA program (full-time or part-time)

    • Must have paid the deposit to secure their place for the September 2025 intake

    • Must be fully self-funded

    • Applicants are required to complete a separate scholarship application form, including an 800-word essay

    • Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a panel or telephone interview.

Offered Benefits

  • Up to 50% tuition fee coverage for the MBA program

  • Covers the cost of study materials, teaching sessions, revision seminars, and examination fees for the nine MBA courses

  • Does not cover interim award fees, exam defer/absence fees, graduation fees, accommodation in Dubai, or incidental living expenses.
