Monywa University is a higher education institution located in the large town of Monywa (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Sagaing. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Myanmar, Monywa University is a coeducational higher education institution. Monywa University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.   • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree in economics
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • The candidate must be a lawful citizen that follows and abide by the law.
  • The candidate must have passed the health detection if necessary.

All successful scholars will receive the amount up to 800,000 Kyats per year to complete their studies in Myanmar.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply for this programme, students must have to take admission in the undergraduate degree programme at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: Attach four photos and a copy of the National Registration Card.
  • Admission Requirements: The candidate who has passed the Basic Education High School Examination (BEHS) in any subject needs to get higher marks than the candidates from Kachin State, Chin State, Sagaing Region, and Shan State (Southern Shan State) are eligible for admission.
  • Language Requirement: Students must comply with university language requirements.
