East-West Center Project Governance Graduate Fellowship at University of Hawai, USA

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible Countries: Candidates must be citizens of one of the following Pacific Island countries: Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, or Vanuatu are eligible to apply.
• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in a Graduate course or degree offered by the university.
• Master of Science in Finance
• Master of Science in Information Systems
• Master of Laws
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
• They are between the ages of 23-35 years old.
• They are citizens of one of the following Pacific Island countries: Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, or Vanuatu.
• Meet academic prerequisites for admission to the University of Hawai‘i (undergraduate degree from an accredited university in business, law, or related field).
• Work in a profession relevant to the PROJECT Governance goals (sound governance, just governance, responsive governance).
• They can travel to and reside in Hawai‘i for the duration of their study from August to May.

• How to Apply: The Project Governance Graduate Fellowship Application will be switching to an online application. In the application, there are fields in which the following pieces need to be uploaded or input directly to complete their application.
• Supporting Documents: Students must be ready to submit all the following documents:
• Application Form (fillable on the application website)
• CV/Resume
• Transcripts from all prior undergraduate study
• Language test (TOEFL, IELTS. Check the requirements of the degree program for more information)
• Two recommendation letters. One letter should address the applicant‡s academic potential, and the other should address the applicant‡s professional work.
• Personal Statements (prompts for the personal statements are on the application website)
• Admission Requirements: Complete educational requirements for admission to the University of Hawai‘i (undergraduate degree from an accredited university in business, law, or related field).
• Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
• TOEFL
• IELTS
