The competition is open to Hungarian and foreign trumpet students studying in high school or enrolled in BA, artist MA, or one-tier MA programs at Hungarian musical institutions, including the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. High school students may also apply for the “Under 25” category.The Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music is one of Hungary’s most prestigious institutions for higher education in music.
