Why choose us?
Scholarships are provided for students accepted to our programmes, and other funding is available for travel, to support participation in our own events and schools and to enable international conference attendance.

The Dodd-Walls Centre has significant government investment to support research, industry initiatives, and educational programmes. We regularly host international conferences and distinguished visitors, and provide students and postdoctoral fellows with opportunities to be involved.

Students also have the opportunity to participate and take leadership roles in a variety of groups and events, including Student chapters of the Optical Society of America, the KOALA conference, and DWC-sponsored events.
