DTU PhD International Scholarship in Micro Forming Tribology for Robust Production, Denmark Established in 1829, Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (Technical University of Denmark) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Kongens Lyngby (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Capital Region of Denmark. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: PhD degree program in Micro Forming Tribology for Robust Production.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Candidates should have a two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master’s degree.
  • Preferably, the master’s degree should be within mechanical engineering and include good knowledge about manufacturing methods. Experience with experimental work and/or numerical simulations is also appreciated.

The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The period of employment is 3 years.
