The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is delighted to announce a fully-funded PhD scholarship in Nurse Scheduling within the Department of Technology, Management, and Economics. This 3-year position, starting in September 2024, is part of a collaborative research project with the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

Eligible candidates must possess a two-year master’s degree or equivalent, demonstrate strong knowledge in relevant fields, and have practical programming experience. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to candidates from any country
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a PhD in Nurse Scheduling
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Possess a two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent.
    • Profound knowledge in Operations Research, Management Science, Data Science, and Analytics.
    • Practical experience with programming (e.g., Python, Java, Julia, etc.).
    • Basic knowledge of healthcare operations management.
    • Priority given to candidates who can speak/understand Danish.
