Dr. Lin Tsung-I University of Tokyo Scholarships for Taiwan Students in Japan for Master Established in 1877, The University of Tokyo is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Tokyo (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan, The University of Tokyo (TODAI) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of Tokyo (TODAI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. The admission rate range is 0-10% making this Japanese higher education organization a most selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Those who are Taiwan nationals.
  • Those who have outstanding academic records and the ability to graduate from the UTokyo, and qualify for a scholarship to complete their studies.Applicants who already have been enrolled two years and started working on their research papers would be foundation’s first choice.

Application Process

Guidelines and application forms are available on the Foundation website. Applicants must email a copy of the application to the foundation, then send the original by registered mail to them.

Those who are selected as a scholarship recipients must attend a meeting and reception held by the foundation on November 13th.
