Dr Judith Johnston Scholarship in Geography is now currently open for the academic year 2024/2025 at the University of Otago. This scholarship is to support and encourage female students to pursue advanced studies in Geography.
The primary aim of the Dr Judith Johnston Scholarship in Geography is to promote female enrolment in 200- and 300-level Geography courses at the University of Otago. This scholarship is designed to assist a female student who, without this financial support, would struggle to afford to continue or return to their studies. The scholarship will be awarded annually to one female undergraduate Geography student who, without the benefit of an entrance scholarship, would find it too difficult to afford to (return to) study.The University of Otago is a prestigious institution known for its academic excellence, outstanding student experience, and global reputation.
