Established in 1946, Ohio University-Chillicothe is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Chillicothe (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Ohio. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, Ohio University-Chillicothe (OUC) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Ohio University-Chillicothe (OUC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply as a freshman, applicants must complete the Ohio University Regional Campus Application and return it to the Admissions Office or apply online.
  • Supporting Documents: Official high school transcripts or a copy of an equivalent record must be sent directly to the Admissions Office address.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must have a high school certificate with a high academic record.
  • Language Requirement: English Proficiency Minimum Score Requirements
  • TOEFL Paper: 520 (composition score of 5)
  • TOEFL Internet (IBT): 68 (writing subscore of 17)
  • IELTS: 6.0 (no sub-score below 5.5)
  • Duolingo English Test: 95
