Doctoral Scholarship in Trust & Intellectual Property Law and Governance, Belgium for PhD Established in 2003, Universiteit Antwerpen (University of Antwerp) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Antwerp (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants).   • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the University of Antwerp.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Hold or expect to obtain a Master’s degree in law, political science, international relations, or public administration.
    • Demonstrate expertise or experience in intellectual property law and/or show a special interest in interdisciplinary trust literature.
    • Exhibit excellent academic performance.
    • Possess teaching competencies aligned with the University’s educational vision.
    • Demonstrate research qualities in line with the faculty and university research policies.
    • Show commitment to quality, integrity, creativity, and cooperation.
    • Possess excellent proficiency in English.

Offered Benefits

  • The scholarship covers a period of two years, with the possibility of renewal for an additional two years upon a positive evaluation.
  • Monthly scholarship amount in accordance with the pay scales for Contract Research Staff.
  • Additional benefits such as ecocheques, Internet-connectivity allowance, and commuting allowances.
  • Work will primarily be conducted at the University of Antwerp’s city campus, offering a dynamic and stimulating environment for research and academic growth.
