The Ireland Canada University Foundation is with great pleasure that they announce the call for applications for the Dobbin Atlantic program for the academic year 2019-20.
Scholarships will be awarded to Irish and Canadian applicants, in support of research trips between Ireland and the Atlantic provinces of Canada.
The mission of the Ireland Canada University Foundation (ICUF) is to nurture the great friendship between these countries, through the support of scholarly exchange.

Eligible Countries: Irish and Canadian applicants can apply for this application

Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded in the Research degree subject offered by the university.
Admissible Criteria: To qualify for a scholarship,
- The Program has been initiated to support the continued development of academic, artistic, cultural and economic links between Atlantic Canada and Ireland.
- Canadian applicants must be living and working in one of the four Atlantic Provinces, namely New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island. Irish applicants must be seeking to travel to one of these provinces to conduct their research.
- Applications are welcome from applicants of all ages, and from all academic disciplines, whose work has the potential to further the objectives of this program and the mission of this Foundation.
- Applicants must be permanent residents of either country and have been living there for at least three of the past five years at the time of application.
