Distance Learning Merit Scholarships for International Students in UK for Master Established in 1957, University of Leicester is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Leicester (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Leicester is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Leicester offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects:  MA, PGDip, and PGCert.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • It is available for any taught postgraduate distance learning degree offered by the University of Leicester.
  • You must be starting your course in the 2022/23 academic year.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for this opportunity, applicants have to take  admission with a MA, PGDip, and PGCert degree at the university. There is no need to apply separately for this scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: You will need to provide the following documents in support of your application:
  • Academic qualifications and transcripts
  • Personal statement/research proposal
  • Two completed references (one must be academic) OR names and contact details of two people from whom we can request references (one must be an academic referee).
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must already have a UK first class honors degree or a degree that is equivalent to a UK first class honors degree.
  • Language Requirement: In order to study at the University of Leicester, your written and spoken  English must be good enough for you to fully understand, and benefit from, your degree course.
