Applications are now open for the Dick Sutton Scholarship in Veterinary Science 2026 at the University of Queensland. Valued at at least AUD 4,500, the scholarship supports full-time undergraduate veterinary students facing financial hardship.
Applicants must be current University of Queensland students enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) and be able to demonstrate financial hardship with supporting documentation. Both domestic and international students are eligible, with preference given to students from regional, rural, or remote areas of Australia or residents of New Zealand.

- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) at The University of Queensland.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Be a current UQ student
Be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours)
Submit the application by the closing date (31 March 2026)
Demonstrate financial hardship and provide relevant documentary evidence
Provide evidence of academic achievement
Submit a personal statement (maximum 250 words)
Preference will be given to applicants who:
Are domestic students from Regional, Rural, or Remote areas of Australia, or
Are current residents of New Zealand, where other factors are equal.
