To apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • be a national of or permanently domiciled in Africa, India or one of the selected Commonwealth countries listed below
  • be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
  • hold an offer to start a full-time masters (excluding MRes), at the University of Nottingham UK in September 2020, within the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Science or Faculty of Social Sciences.

You cannot be a current student or graduate of the University of Nottingham or have already studied outside of your home country. Priority is given to those who have not previously studied outside of their home country. Students who are currently studying in the UK are not eligible to apply.

Developing Solutions Masters funding for Students from Africa Established in 1948, The University of Nottingham is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Nottingham (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Midlands. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Derby, Sutton Bonington, Lincoln, Semenyih. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, The University of Nottingham is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University of Nottingham offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 71 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Offered Benefits

We're offering 105 scholarships covering 50% or 100% of full-time masters tuition fees. These are open to high-achieving international students from Africa, India or selected Commonwealth countries.
