Eligibility Criteria
To be appointed to the position,
- The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree (120 ECTS) in Political Science or a closely related discipline.
- The Master’s degree must include a thesis of at least 30 ECTS, and training in quantitative and qualitative research methodology. The successful candidate must document top grades and an MA Thesis of the highest quality. Personal suitability will also be an important factor.
- The quality and promise of the project outline, and how this fits with the larger R-QUEST project, will be of great importance for evaluating the candidates. As such, displaying knowledge of one or more of the topics relevant to R-QUEST and having strong methodological skills are important factors. Further, given the expected contributions of the successful applicant to the larger project, the following skills and competencies will be given weight: a) administrative and organizational skills; b) collaborative and communication skills; and c) command of English and a Scandinavian language (command of a Scandinavian language is a plus, but not an absolute requirement).
