Goldberg Scholarships for Africa Students at Heriot-Watt University, UK for Master Established in 1966, Heriot-Watt University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Edinburgh (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Scotland.   • Eligible Course or Subjects: Postgraduate students from across Southern Africa to take up courses in our School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society (EGIS), and progress onto rewarding careers and leadership roles in the energy industry in Southern Africa at the Heriot-Watt University.
  • Eligibility Criteria:To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • Must be UK and Southern Africa citizens.

Offered Benefits

Heriot-Watt University will provide 35 postgraduate students across Southern Africa over 3 years to access life-changing education at Heriot-Watt. Each 3-year scholarship is £12,000.

Application Process

  • How to apply: In order to apply for the scholarship, applicants are required to fill out an application here for the postgraduate program to study at the Heriot-Watt Dubai campus.
  • Supporting Documents: All applicants must have required to submit the following documents with their application: Two references using the referees’ report form
  • Copy of degree certificate and transcript
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • A personal statement may be required for some degree programs
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, applicants must meet all  university entry requirements.
  • Language Requirement: If your first language is not English, you must demonstrate that your English language ability is strong enough to succeed in your program.
