The Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP) is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Development designed to facilitate entrepreneurship development in students of Delta State origin.
The programme is modeled to train and set up eligible Undergraduate Students with exceptional entrepreneurial drive through access to a venture-capital arrangement.

Delta State Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP) 2026 for Bachelor Established in 1924, Delta State University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Cleveland (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Mississippi. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Delta State University is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Delta State University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 95 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this US higher education organization a least selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP), applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a student of a State-Owned University in Delta State:
    • University of Delta (UNIDEL)
    • Delta State University (DELSU)
    • Southern Delta University (SDU)
    • Dennis Osadebay University (DOU)
  • Must be of Delta State origin.
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
  • Must be in 200 Level, 300 Level, or Penultimate Year.
  • Must have a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
  • Must possess an innovative and bankable business idea.
  • Note: All applicants must provide valid documentation to verify eligibility requirements during the application process.
