The Laney Graduate School offers a number of fellowships for international and US students enrolled in their doctoral programs The award amount is $25,738 and a stipend. This fellowship is open to students in all subjects, and it provides financial assistance as well as a stipend for living expenses.

The Dean’s Teaching Fellowships (DTF) are awarded to students who demonstrate excellence in teaching and who will complete their doctoral degree within the fellowship year (Spring 2024). Each Dean’s Teaching Fellow teaches one course (with exceptions for those completing the DTF program requirements) and receives a stipend for 9 months (September – May), as well as a 100% subsidy for the Emory University Student Health Insurance Plan (EUSHIP). The first stipend payment will be made at the end of September. This year, up to 12 fellowships are being offered, with some directed specifically towards areas/partners listed below. Fellows are expected to complete their degrees during the course of the fellowship year.
