To support outstanding students from around the world, Finlandia University is pleased to announce the Deans Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023.

The purpose of this bursary is to support highly motivated students who wish to study the bachelor’s degree programme in the USA.

Deans International Scholarships at Finlandia University, USA for Bachelor Founded in 1896, Finlandia University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the rural setting of the small town of Hancock (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), Michigan. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, Finlandia University is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 500-999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Lutheran religion. Finlandia University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 123 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from around the world
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • High school cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable by maintaining a GPA of 2.75 at Finlandia University.

Finlandia University will provide the award amount of $3,500 for aspirants in the USA.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To be eligible, applicants must have to enrol in the undergraduate degree programme at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: Submit the following:
  • Affidavit of financial support
  • Financial Statement
  • Passport
  • Transcripts
  • Personal Statement
  • Admission Requirements: Students must hold a previous degree certificate with relevant marks.
  • Language Requirement: Finlandia requires international applicants to send ONE of the following official scores for admission to degree programs: DUO LINGO, TOEFL, SAT 1, IELTS, PTE, or STEP (Japan only). Scores must be fewer than two (2) years old
