The University of Trieste is pleased to announce the 2025 Danieli & C. S.p.A. Scholarships. Two scholarships, each valued at €4,000, are available for high-achieving students enrolled in selected master’s programs in science and engineering.

Applicants must be enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year in one of the specified master’s programs at the University of Trieste, hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade of 100/110, and must not be receiving any other scholarships for the same academic year.

The University of Trieste is a renowned public research university located in Trieste, Italy. Founded in 1924, it offers a wide range of programs across sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences. Known for its strong emphasis on international collaboration and scientific research, the university is closely linked with major research centers in the region, such as the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the Elettra Sincrotrone.

Danieli & C. S.p.A. Scholarships in Italy for Master Founded in 1877, Università degli Studi di Trieste (University of Trieste) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Trieste (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Friuli Venezia Giulia. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca, Italia (Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, Italy), Università degli Studi di Trieste (UNITS) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Università degli Studi di Trieste (UNITS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in one of the following LM programs for the academic year 2024/2025:

    • Computer Engineering (IN23)

    • Mechanical Engineering (IN15)

    • Materials and Chemical Engineering for Nano, Bio, and Sustainable Technologies (IN21)

    • Electrical Energy and Systems Engineering (IN19)

    • Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (SM38)

    • Scientific and Data-Intensive Computing (SM36)

    • Mathematics (SM28)

    • Physics (SM23)

  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet all the following criteria:

    • Be enrolled in the academic year 2024/2025 within the University’s official deadlines.

    • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a final grade of at least 100/110.

    • Not be a recipient of any other scholarships for the same academic year, including those from ARDiS (Agenzia Regionale per il Diritto allo Studio del Friuli-Venezia Giulia).

Offered Benefits

Each selected student will receive a one-time scholarship of €4,000 to support their academic journey during the 2024/2025 academic year.
