Offered Benefits
The DAAD does not cover tuition fees, but will provide all the following:

- Travel allowance and one-off study allowance

Application Process
Certificates, proof of credits, certifications and translations may be scanned in non-certified form and uploaded to the DAAD portal.
- How to Apply: To apply for the program, applicants will need to complete an online application form, full curriculum vitae in tabular form, and submit a statement about academic and personal reasons for the planned study project in Germany. If available then submit a letter of acceptance from the host university.
- Supporting Documents: Also for all applicants: A current Transcript of Records with individual grades, University degree certificate indicating final grades, Full curriculum vitae in tabular form, letter of motivation- 1 to 3 pages, Proof of German language proficiency, Proof of English language proficiency, A list of all work that has been cited as samples, and Letter of acceptance from the host university if available.
- Admission Requirements: Submit work samples to the DAAD media database: If a review of the applicant‡s grant submission reveals that it meets the standards for the award declaration and is complete, they will receive a link to upload their work sample to the DAAD Media database by December 15 at the latest. When they receive the link, upload work samples to the media database by 10 January CET at the latest.
- Language Requirement: English language proficiency according to the requirements of the chosen study programme in English (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS). The language certificate should be no more than two years old.
