If you are a graduate aiming to write your doctoral thesis abroad, you must apply for the DAAD-Scholarships for Doctoral Candidates offered at the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences for the academic year 2022-2023.

DAAD Scholarships for International Students in Germany for PhD Founded in 1979, Universität Bamberg (University of Bamberg) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Bamberg (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Bavaria. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst (Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art), Universität Bamberg is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universität Bamberg offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All international students can apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for a PhD study to write their master thesis at the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences.
