The awardees will be selected on the basis of financial needs. The award will consist of a grant to support the cost of their education at HHN.

DAAD Graduation International Scholarships at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, Germany Established in 1961, Hochschule Heilbronn (Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Heilbronn (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Baden-Wurttemberg. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Künzelsau.   • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for the graduate degree programme of choice offered at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • Eligible are international students who are enrolled in and will complete a regular course of study at Heilbronn University.
  • The applicant is expected to complete the course of study within one year.
  • The applicant has a monthly income of less than the minimum amount required for living expenses according to alien law.
  • The applicant must hand in her/his complete application documents personally at the International Office, to Hannelore Lang (S 2.20 / Bildungscampus) or Gudrun Heller (S 2.30 / Bildungscampus).

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The applicants are first required to complete their admission application for the desired degree programme. Then, to apply for the scholarship, students must fill out a separate scholarship application form.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Current assessment of a supervising professor regarding the student’s course of study and expected time of completion, a copy of the registration for the final thesis (Bachelor’s or Master’s), if available
  • Tabular CV
  • Current grade reports
  • Current certificate of enrolment
  • Information on current financial situation and expenses
  • A complete series of bank statements for the last 3 months (if requested also of the last 6 months)
  • Complete list of all further bank and savings accounts
  • Proof of other sources of income (employment contract, payslip, accommodation allowance, child benefits, scholarships)
  • If married, proof of financial situation of spouse (income, accounts, savings accounts)
  • Copy of rental agreement
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must submit all necessary documents.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL internet based test min. 79 points
  • TOEFL paper-based test mind. 550 points
  • IELTS mind. 6.0 overall band score
  • Cambridge CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) min. C
  • DSH- DSH-2 or DSH-3
  • TestDaF – TDN 4
