The 2025 DAAD Double Degree Scholarship aims to develop or implement international degree programs with joint curricula from the German and foreign universities for groups of highly qualified German and foreign students who study alternately at the German and foreign partner universities and both obtain national degrees (joint degree or double degree).

The degree programs are intended to strengthen the exchange between teachers and students and make a lasting contribution to the development, expansion and consolidation of international structures at German universities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The DAAD Double Degree Program is open to state and state-recognized German universities.
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s students, along with faculty members from participating institutions, are eligible to apply.
  • However, double degree programs in France are excluded, as these are supported by the Franco-German University (DFH).
