Eligibility for the CUG Scholarships is open to students and technical-administrative staff of the University of Trieste. Technical-administrative staff must be currently employed by the university.

Founded in 1877, Università degli Studi di Trieste (University of Trieste) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Trieste (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Friuli Venezia Giulia. Selection will be conducted by a dedicated committee. Separate rankings will be prepared for students and staff, and awards will be based on CV, motivation letter, event relevance, and academic performance (for students).
