Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities (applicants must reside in Australia)
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the area of Terahertz Quantum Systems and related fields.
  • Admissible Criteria:
    • Applicants must hold or expect to gain first or upper second-class honours or equivalent in a relevant research area.
    • Must be admitted to an Australian university as a PhD student.
    • Hold an appropriate visa to study in Australia (if international) and reside in Australia.
    • Be no further than one year into a PhD upon commencing at CSIRO.
    • Must hold a primary scholarship (e.g., RTP scholarship) of similar value.
    • Cannot be in receipt of any other Top-Up Scholarship.
    • Must have a university supervisor who can supervise in collaboration with CSIRO.
    • Must be available to commence with CSIRO no later than 30 June 2025.
