CQUniversity International Student Scholarship in Australia Founded in 1967, Central Queensland University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the large town of North Rockhampton (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Queensland. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Mackay, Gladstone, Emerald, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Fiji, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai (CN). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Central Queensland University (CQU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Central Queensland University (CQU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.   • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for the English Language + Academic; VET; Undergraduate; Postgraduate (Course work); Postgraduate (Research)
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants who have completed their most recent studies with a minimum overall grade average of 65% or equivalent; or minimum GPA of 4.9 (7-point scale); or a minimum GPA of 2.6 (4-point scale with a minimum pass of 2)
  • Note: The GPA 7-point scale is the standard grading scale adopted in Australia
  • Study Region: Adelaide, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Cairns, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Rockhampton, Sydney, and Townsville.
  • Applicants must meet the academic criteria at CQUniversity Australia
  • Applicants are commencing an eligible course at any CQUniversity campus will be eligible for the scholarship

Offered Benefits

The scholarship value of 25% is available to all new students commencing studies for the first time in an eligible course at CQUniversity.

Application Process

There is no minimum GPA to receive this scholarship.
