CQ University Research Stipend Scholarship in Australia, 2020 for Master Founded in 1967, Central Queensland University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the large town of North Rockhampton (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Queensland. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Mackay, Gladstone, Emerald, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Fiji, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai (CN). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Central Queensland University (CQU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Central Queensland University (CQU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries: Australian students can apply for this application .
Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded in any postgraduate (research) degree subjects are offered by the university.
Admissible Criteria: To be eligible for a CQUniversity Research Stipend Scholarship (Australian Indigenous), an applicant must:

  • Be an Indigenous Australian citizen. Recipients would be required to provide verification of their community acceptance as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Be undertaking, or approved for admission and enrolling in, a research higher degree program at CQUniversity.
  • If undertaking:
    • A Research Masters, not hold a research Doctorate or a Research Masters or an equivalent research qualification; and
    • a Research Doctorate, not hold a Research Doctorate or an equivalent research qualification; and
    • Must not be receiving income from another source to support the student’s general living costs while undertaking the course of study if that income is greater than 75 percent of the CQUniversity Research Stipend Scholarship (Australian Indigenous) stipend rate.
