This programme will provide a 10% reduction in tuition fees for students who want to undertake undergraduate degree coursework at the University of Kyrenia in Turkey.

Covid-19 special programme at University of Kyrenia, Turkey Founded in 2013, Girne Üniversitesi (University of Kyrenia) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Kyrenia (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Northern Cyprus. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Girne Üniversitesi (UoK) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Girne Üniversitesi (UoK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 6 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To being enlisted in the programme, applicants are required to enrol in the undergraduate degree programme at the university. After being registered, students are eligible to apply for the award.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must have to submit the academic transcripts of all the previous school attended, copy of Id card and other relevant documents.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must have to meet the following criteria:
  • General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) Exam results
  • International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Exam results
  • International Baccalaureate Exam results
  • American College Testing (ACT) Exam results
  • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Exam results
  • Language Requirement: Candidates must have sufficient knowledge of the English language.
