Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur, Québec (Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Quebec), Concordia University (CU) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. Concordia University (CU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 45 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for the undergraduate degree in any faculty at Concordia University.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be qualified, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • Applicants must be applying for their first undergraduate degree (have no prior university credits).
  • Applicants will be studying full-time in a degree program.
  • Applicants are international students that will be paying full international student rates.
  • Applicants will be starting studies at Concordia University in fall 2023.
  • Applicants have applied for admission, paid the application fee, and obtained a Concordia student ID number (an 8-digit number beginning with the number 4).

Applicants must apply for admission before applying for this “International Scholars Awards” scholarship program.

  • How to Apply: In order to apply, applicants must complete the application package and upload it to their student portal. The package must be a single PDF file including the following:
  • The Student Application  Form
  • Current curriculum vitae that outlines all work, volunteer experience, accolades, cultural, and other accomplishments.
  • A 750-word limit personal statement where you express how you have shown resilience and overcome personal hardship while maintaining outstanding academic performance.
  • File name: LastName_FirstName_StudentID# (Example: Doe_John_12345678)
  • Supporting Documents: Application form, CV, and a personal statement in 750 words.
  • Admission Requirements: After uploading an application package, applicants must inform the University of their Application by emailing fundingyoureducation[at]concordia.ca. Put their student ID number followed by “International Scholars Award Application” in the subject of their email.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency to study at Concordia University in Canada.
