Concord University International Presidential Scholarships in USA for Bachelor Founded in 1872, Concord University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the village of Athens (population range of under 2,500 inhabitants), West Virginia. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, Concord University is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Concord University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 147 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 30-40% making this US higher education organization a very selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All international students are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree programme in any preferred field of study taught at Concord University can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be freshman students.
  • The applicants must have a minimum GPA of 5 – 4.0.

Offered Benefits

Concord University will award the International Presidential Scholarship to the selected students. A sum of up to $7,000 will be provided to them.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The applicants must submit an admission application via the official online portal of the university. Eligible students will automatically be considered for the opportunity .
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Non-Degree Application
  • Copy of current passport
  • Proof of funding – bank statement showing at least $15,000 USD
  • Academic transcripts
  • English translations, if required
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet the academic entry requirements of the university and its English language requirements.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL iBT score of at least 60
  • TOEFL Essentials of at least 6.0
  • IELTS band of at least 6.0
  • Duolingo English Test score of at least 85
  • GTEC score of at least 1095
  • Eiken scores of at least 2A
  • iTEP score of at least 3.5
  • Pearson PTE of at least 45
